Brennan Bowen is an Associate with Holtzman Vogel’s Phoenix Office, where he practices compliance, litigation, and appeals in the areas of redistricting, First Amendment, election law, campaign finance, lobbying and ethics, political committees, and tax-exempt organizations.

Prior to joining the firm, Brennan served in all three branches of Arizona’s government. He was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John Lopez IV, Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court; a legal intern for Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Office of General Counsel; a Janet D. Steiger Fellow and a summer law clerk for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office; and a legal intern for the Senate Rules Committee of the Arizona Legislature. Brennan also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Susan Brnovich, Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona; a Ronald Reagan Fellow with the Goldwater Institute; and a legislative liaison with the Center for Arizona Policy.

His work in the public sector is complimented by the time he spent doing litigation and transactional work as a law clerk with a highly respected Arizona firm.

While in law school, Brennan participated in four fellowships, served in leadership for two student organizations, and accumulated over 125 hours of pro bono service.

Brennan loves spending time with his wife and daughters and enjoys college football, woodworking, western literature, and Arizona trail hiking.
