Holtzman Vogel Elevates Andrew D. Watkins to Partner
Holtzman Vogel, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in political and regulatory law, commercial litigation, and white-collar investigations, has promoted Andrew D. Watkins to partner. Based in the firm’s Northern Virginia office, Watkins specializes in campaign finance, election law, lobbying and ethics compliance, and tax-exempt organizations.

Before joining Holtzman Vogel, Watkins served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph R. Goeke, Senior Judge of the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. and interned in the Office of General Counsel for the Governor of Kentucky, Matthew G. Bevin. While in law school, he clerked for the Kentucky Executive Branch Ethics Commission and interned for Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell.
Watkins is a frequent contributor to the Federalist Society’s State Court Docket Watch, and he has co-authored amicus briefs before the United States Supreme Court. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky’s J. David Rosenberg College of Law, and his B.S. from the University of Louisville.
