Holtzman Vogel Grows Political and Election Law Team with Federal Election Commission Attorney Austin Graham
Holtzman Vogel, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in political law, regulatory law and litigation, is pleased to announce the addition of Austin Graham to its Northern Virginia office as a political and election law senior associate attorney.
Graham has an extensive background with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), where he served as Executive Assistant and Attorney Advisor to former Chair Sean J. Cooksey. In this influential role, he guided key policy matters, enforcement actions, advisory opinions, and rulemaking initiatives, offering expert counsel that influenced significant Commission decisions.
“When it comes to campaign finance and election law, Austin Graham is a lawyer’s lawyer,” stated former FEC Chairman, Sean Cooksey. “He knows everything there is to know about the FEC after three outstanding years in my office and has much more to accomplish in the private sector.”
“Austin’s experience handling complex campaign finance matters further strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional legal counsel for clients,” said Jill Holtzman Vogel, firm founder and managing partner. “His addition underscores the extraordinary value our firm brings to those engaged in the political and election sphere.”
A graduate of William and Mary Law School, Graham was also a project manager for the William & Mary Election Law Program. He developed an online platform to assist state courts in election law cases; and organized and managed committees of attorneys, state officials, and academics to offer public insight into state election codes.
