Jan was quoted in an article about members of the 117th Congress, who have since left Capitol Hill, and hold nearly $54 million in leftover political money which they may use to make contributions as lobbyists or use for future campaigns.
Jan stated: “A lot of retiring members like to remain politically active. You’ll see that for retiring members who go into lobbying, it becomes very convenient to have a personal PAC to remind your former colleagues of who you are and what you’re doing now.”
